Sherri Martin, MMS, PA-C Physician Assistant & Clinical Research Manager
Sherri Martin, MMS, PA-C has been with the practice since July of 2015. Sherri earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan where she graduated with University Honors. She then furthered her education at Northwestern University earning a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
As a Dermatology Physician Assistant, Sherri is dedicated to providing the highest level of dermatological care while getting to know her patients and understanding their concerns. Her services include but are not limited to treatment of acne, moles, warts, rashes, eczema, skin cancer, psoriasis, and laser hair removal.
Sherri is also the Director of the Research Department at Bexley Dermatology. As such, she explores the newest promising treatments in Dermatology as a Sub-Investigator and Clinical Research Coordinator.
Originally from Chicago, Sherri enjoys making trips home to visit friends and family. In her free time, she also loves ice skating, exercising, cheering for her favorite sports teams, and playing with her cat Teeny.
Kristen Kochendoerfer Practice ManagerAs Practice Manager, Kristen is responsible for the overall patient experience. She prides herself in being given the opportunity to lead the Bexley Dermatology team in providing a medical environment that exceeds patient expectations daily.
For the 10 years prior to joining Bexley Dermatology, Kristen worked in the corporate offices of several major retailers in the Columbus, Ohio area. There, she focused on expanding company growth via new store openings, writing and creating policies and procedures, and expanding international shipping processes.
In her free time, she enjoys reading a great book, watching YouTube makeup tutorial videos, spending time with her family who recently relocated to Kentucky, and finding new restaurants and cool places in Columbus to explore with her best friend.
Carissa Padovano Assistant ManagerAs Assistant Manager, Carissa is responsible for training her medical assistants, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring patients are getting the best experience and treatment this industry has to offer, both clinical and personal. She prides herself in being given this role in her profession.
For the past 8 years before coming to Bexley Dermatology, Carissa worked as a nurse for practices in the Columbus, Ohio area (Ohio Gastroenterology Group and Ohio Health Orthopedic Surgeons), where she was involved in daily hands on patient care, developing and implementing new protocols, and ensuring patient safety and well-being.
In her free time, Carissa enjoys nights out with friends, yoga, reading, revamping her condo, reality TV shows, and playing with her three long haired Chihuahuas; Maggie, Sophie, and her newest addition Zeus. She also enjoys exploring new fun places in Columbus with her boyfriend and his son.
Sarah Clark Clinical Research Coordinator
Sarah has been with Bexley Dermatology since February of 2017.
She earned her BA in Psychology from the Ohio State University where she also obtained her passion for clinical research.
At Bexley Dermatology, she has quickly become an integral and invaluable part of the Research Department as a Clinical Research Coordinator. She coordinates and organizes the investigation of cutting edge dermatologic treatments for various skin conditions. She brings extensive experience and expertise in research procedures and protocol to the practice. Previously, she worked as a Clinical Research Associate and regularly traveled to more than 30 sites evaluating and monitoring their efficacy as a research center.
In her free time, Sarah loves to spend time with her husband Andrew, ice skate, play with her beagle Rayna, and root for the Ohio State football team! Go Bucks!
Angela Delligatti ReceptionistAs Receptionist for Bexley Dermatology, Angela is probably the first person you’ll encounter as you step through the front door of the practice. More than likely, you’ve already heard her cheery voice on the phone while making your appointment. Angela’s expertise in customer service is unmatched as she thrives to make sure every patient enjoys their appointment experience from beginning to end.
Prior to joining Bexley Dermatology, Angela has held customer service positions in several medical establishments in Columbus. Prior to moving to Columbus in 2012, Angela worked for a law firm whose primary focus was on medical records for veterans. Angela has two daughters, a son in law and a grand-dog named Parker. Angela also recently became a Glam-ma to a beautiful baby girl. You will always find her cheering on her Pittsburgh Steelers, the West Virginia Mountaineers, and most recently the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Kanisha Moore Aesthetician/Medical AssistantKanisha is a certified medical professional and makeup artist who LOVES everything related to skin and beauty. She stays on top of the latest treatments and beauty trends and even tries them on herself before recommending to clients. Kanisha, is experienced in all aspects of aesthetics as well as body contouring procedures. Her passion lies in making others see and experience the beauty inside themselves.
Chloe Hernane Medical Assistant
Working alongside our providers and staff, Chloe strives as a medical assistant to provide the highest care for our patients. Compassionate and warm, her aim is to provide a comfortable environment for new and returning patients.
Chloe graduated from The Ohio State University in December 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience and a Minor in Psychology. Prior to dermatology, Chloe worked with spinal cord injury patients at the NeuroRecovery Network within the Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University. With the eventual goal of medical school, she values the wealth of knowledge gained through working with both physicians and patients here at Bexley Dermatology.
In her spare time Chloe enjoys composing music, visiting her homeland (Canada), and spending time with her cats. Fun fact: she is only a few cats away from cat lady status.
Ashley Cox Medical AssistantAshley has been a Certified Medical Assistant since 2009 and has experience in pediatrics, gastroenterology, orthopedics and dermatology. Her role as Medical Assistant is to provide patients with premium patient care as it relates to in-office visits, post-office visit follow-ups, as well as supporting the Doctors on a daily basis by ensuring all patients receive timely care and communication.
She also has an Associate’s Degree in Health & Life Sciences and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree at Muskingum University. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, exploring Columbus, and running in obstacle course runs such as Spartan races and any 5K “fun runs.”
